🥭 FAQ 🥭

  • I stay away from calling myself that. It implies I will tell you what to do. I won’t.

I will listen, I will introduce ideas and frameworks I think may be helpful for you, and I will keep you accountable throughout your search.

Re: mangoes, though, yes. We are very much mango themed here. 🥭

  • I never thought I’d compare myself to the IRS but, just like our tax system, I offer a progressive price range. Meaning the fresh college grad won’t pay the same as the CEO.

I also have (mango) skin in the game. You pay a part the day of the session, and another part when you sign an offer. That’s how much I trust you’ll get there!

I guarantee you’ll walk away from the first free session with a clear picture on costs. My hope is you’ll see it as an investment, for this and future job searches in your career.

  • A good job search has many pillars. It spans broad initial career ideation to practical tips on resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn, interviewing, networking.

Everyone has different strengths and areas of improvement.

It depends on where you are on your journey. Wherever that is, that’s where I’ll meet you.

  • Flexibility, commitment and trust.

Flexibility in your search. Fixating exclusively on one role in one organization will likely be a disappointing adventure.

Commitment to the process. Gym memberships work as long as you use them and have a great gym buddy to drive accountability. See you at the job search gym!

Trust in me. Job searching can be a rollercoaster. Our starting and ending point is an “It will work out” mindset. Trust me. It will.

  • A good rule of thumb is to give yourself 3 months from the moment you start actively applying to roles.

I add another month or two to do the prep work to get there.

That leaves us at 4-6 months to be on the safe side. Nothing worth doing is easy! But landing the right role is worth it.

    Delayed gratification at its greatest.

  • I do not. I’ve worked and helped folks in varied fields, from quality assurance to public health research, event planning and everything in between.

I’ll always be honest and tell you where my job market insight ends and industry niche begins. We’ll find people that will share how your target industry operates and, more importantly, how to crack it.

  • Absolutely.

  • 100%.

  • It’s my favorite fruit! I have a mango tree in my front yard called Alphonso. He’s proud of me for doing this. He better prove it come mango season 😋 🥭
